A Little Bit About Me
Asalamu alaikum,
The following are few key words which describe me:
-humble
-straightforward
-striving to become a better Muslim
-try respect everyone
-caring
InshaALLAH my ideal future marriage will be to work towards achieving our goal
π« *SPOUSES TILL JANNAH* π«
Being married is not just about eating together, sleeping and walking side by side, strolling to the beach or river together, doing the lovey-dovey, pillow fights or doing chores together. These are only the extra-curricular activities; the main thing that needs to be done together is Iba'dah, and this is where many couples fall short.
π We were created for the worship of Allah and couples can help each other achieve it. Here's how:
π΄ He: Sweetheart, its Friday, let's recite surah Kahf together.
π΅ She: Hey dear, wake up and let's pray, its time for Tahajud, our LORD is in the first heaven calling on to us.
π΄ He: Darling, even if you are off-salat, have you done your evening adhkaar? Let's do it together.
π΅ She: Ya sheikh, now that we have observed Isha, its time for our daily family halqah, won't you give us a Naseeha or teach us fiqh?
π΄ He: Honey, let's quickly recite Surah Mulk and Surah Sajdah before sleeping so that it will save us from the punishment of the grave.
π΅ He: My queen, tomorrow is Monday, let's prepare to fast tomorrow so as to please our Lord.
πΏThe Prophet (salallahu alayhi wasallam ) praised the man who gets up at night to pray, and wakes his wife, and when she refuses to get up, he sprinkles water in her face; and he praised the woman who gets up at night to pray, and wakes her husband, and when he refuses to get up, she sprinkles water in his face. (Reported by Imaam Ahmad in al-Musnad, 2/250; Saheeh al-Jaamiβ, 3494).
π How beautiful is this Hadith! This is how couples should help in fulfilling 50% of each other's deen.
π©βπ©βπ§βπ¦ Marry a person who will help you in the worldly affairs as well as the matters of your Hereafter.
π Many people do say:
"I want a spouse who will hold my hands to Jannah."
βπ»The bridge of Siraat is not an easy bridge that requires just a hand to help you cross it, everyone is for himself, so Jannah is not earned by mere dua, you need to both work for it.
Allah says:
(Paradise is not earned) by your mere wishful thinking. (Surah Nisaa, Verse 123)
When couples play, sleep, wake, eat, drink, smile, laugh, cry, walk, run, discuss, think, act and pray together, they share a very deep form of "companionship and compatibility" that cannot be created any other way and can't be found anywhere else!
_May Allah grant us all such partner that will elevate our eeman and taqwa. Aameen._
